As experts on ocean plastic pollution for over a decade, Plastic Oceans UK is at the cusp of a new strategic transition and we’re looking for someone to take on the next chapter of this challenge with us.
The time to solve the crisis and change practices as a society is now.
We empower multiple audiences to transform their relationship with plastics and the ocean, committing to long-lasting change. We are currently undertaking an exciting strategic transition and are working in partnership with Acre to hire a Chief Executive who can both shape and lead our strategy alongside a talented and passionate team.
As part of this strategic transition, we are currently evolving and building on our long-term legacy within the ocean plastic space – using the momentum around plastic pollution as a gateway to tackling wider ocean and social issues.
We’re using an intersectional approach that focuses on environmental concerns as social issues and developing behaviour change campaigns. This will be bolstered by a new, fresh brand and name to be launched in early 2021! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an international movement for transformation, which is rooted in environmental sustainability and social justice.
If you are a passionate and an intuitive leader, looking to make your mark in a dynamic organisational development role with real social purpose and capacity for growth, this is a great opportunity to make that a reality.
