Engagement with Policymakers

In 2016, the Plastic Oceans Foundation (UK) and Brunel University London responded to the call for submissions of evidence from the House of Common’s Environmental Audit Committee to support their inquiry into the environmental impact of microplastics. The inquiry led to the UK government announcing plans to ban microbeads later that year.
